In Delhi, India, Ian (Michael Pitt) is pursuing the possibility that Salomina (Kashish) is the reincarnation of his lost love, Sofi (Astrid Bergès-Frisbey). Even though he traveled 1/2 way round the world to find out, he is still skeptical. In this scene it seems that he is finally convinced, because, for one thing, Salomina's eyes are exactly the same as Sofi's. ("The eyes are a window to the soul," which is the underlying theme of the entire movie.)
